Every Child Deserves a Jewish Education

At the Center for Affordable Jewish Education, we believe no child should ever be denied a quality, values-based Jewish education because of financial limitations. Our commitment is to break down economic barriers so that every Jewish family has the opportunity to invest in their child’s future—and in the strength and continuity of our community.

Who We Are

We are a Delaware-incorporated nonprofit dedicated exclusively to expanding access to Jewish day schools. While the federal National School Choice program is set to launch in 2027, we are already preparing to become one of the first registered Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs). Our mission is clear: to ensure that financial hardship never stands in the way of a Jewish child receiving a meaningful, enriching education.

Help Build the Future of Jewish Education

CAJE is preparing now so that by 2027, families across the country can access tuition support through the new federal tax credit program.

What We Do

We process donations quickly—issuing receipts within one business day—and give donors the option to recommend a specific school or region. Every scholarship funded goes directly to K–12 students enrolled in accredited Jewish day schools across the country, ensuring immediate impact where it matters most.

Why it Matters

With antisemitism on the rise and tuition costs climbing, Jewish education is becoming increasingly out of reach for many families. Our initiative provides a timely and transformative solution—preserving Jewish identity, strengthening community, and securing a bright future for the next generation.

Our Goal: A Win-Win Giving Opportunity

We’re taking the lead in preparing for the upcoming federal National School Choice program, which will allow every taxpayer to receive a 100% federal tax credit for contributions to approved Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs). Our goal is to raise $85 million in scholarships by activating 50,000 donors to help make Jewish education affordable nationwide.

Our planned “Give $1,700. Get $1,700.” campaign will unlock a powerful opportunity: once the federal program launches in 2027, donors will be able to fully fund a student’s scholarship and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit in return. Together, we can ensure that no Jewish child is left behind.
